web036.JPGThe Tuggeranong Indoor Markets are quickly becoming part of the local community.

For locals and visitors alike, the last Sunday of each month means a visit to Lake Tuggeranong, a wander through the markets within the Tuggeranong Community Centre and a coffee at the Jetty Cafe.

The Markets are a place to shop for bargains and take up the Tuggeranong atmosphere.

But they are much more than that!!The Art of Quilling

They provide local designers, artists and craftspeople the opportunity to sell their work direct to the public. They act as a launch pad for budding entrepreneurs and anyone working in the creative industries.

The Markets also allow local not-for-profit groups, sporting clubs and other organisations access to a local event to conduct fund-raising and awareness.

What are some of the stalls you will see each month you ask:

  • aromatherapy (massage blends, body butter, soaps, incense etc)
  • arts & craft (knitting, folk art, hand-made cards, quilling etc)
  • soy candles (huge variety of scents and styles)
  • huge range of jewellery (gold, silver, crystal, beaded and more)
  • home bakingpink-multi-coloured-butterfly-pendant-earrings-set.jpg
  • baby wear
  • face painting for kids
  • scrap-booking supplies
  • BBQ (fund raiser for Lanyon High School)
  • Tea, Coffee and cake from the Jetty Cafe and much more.
