After visiting and selling at many a market I have discovered I often end up buying something because I have been delighted, fascinated or intrigued by the stallholder.
Entertain your customers
People love demonstrations and live promotions - they add entertainment value. This factor highlights the point of difference from shopping in a conventional store
Remember whatever product you are selling or promoting you are also selling yourself.
A well presented exterior takes you a long way. You need to look well groomed
You never get a second chance to make a first impression!
If possible dress in some way connected to the product you sell - let clothing be an integral part of your selling strategy

Our Market is quickly becoming part of the local community!
For locals and visitors alike, the last Sunday of each month means a visit to Lake Tuggeranong, a wander through our market located within the Tuggeranong Community Centre and a coffee at the Jetty Cafe.
The Markets are a place to shop for bargains and take up the Tuggeranong atmosphere.
But they are much more than that!!
They provide local designers, artists and craftspeople the opportunity to sell their work direct to the public. They act as a launch pad for budding entrepreneurs and anyone working in the creative industries.
The Markets also allow local not-for-profit groups, sporting clubs and other organisations access to a local event to conduct fund-raising and awareness.
